Violent
Crimes Task Force Seeks Information Regarding Sacramento
Bank Robbery
The
FBI and Sacramento County Sheriff Deputies are trying
to identify a man who robbed the First Bank at 865
Howe Avenue earlier this morning.
After
entering the bank at about 10:20 a.m. the man approached
one of the tellers and presented a demand note. He
then placed a black leather money pouch on the counter
and said "now".
The
man was wearing a tan straw hat with black cloth around
the rim of the hat, a black t-shirt, black pants,
black sunglasses and a black lightweight jacket. He
was also wearing a black bandana underneath the straw
hat.
The
teller put the money in the black leather pouch and
the robber fled. No weapons were seen and no description
of a get-a-way vehicle was available.
The
suspect is described as an African American male in
his mid 40's with shoulder length black hair that
is braided. He is 6' tall and weighs approximately
300 pounds.
