FBI and Robbery Detectives
Seek Information on Unsolved Bank Robbery
On March 17, 2008, the Bank of America branch located inside the Save Mart Supermarket, 2501 Fair Oaks Boulevard, Sacramento, California, was robbed. The robbery occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. when a lone male approached the teller’s counter and handed the teller a note demanding money. No weapon was seen and shortly after making his demand the robber exited the bank and supermarket. No description of a getaway vehicle was available.
The robber is described as a black or Hispanic male, early to mid 20’s, 5’7” to 6’4”, approximately 130 - 150 lbs., with a thin build. The robber wore a green/brown Oakland A’s baseball cap and a green/brown long sleeve hooded sweatshirt.
The Sacramento Violent Crimes Task Force, comprised of FBI agents and Sacramento County Sheriff's Department robbery detectives, are seeking information on this unidentified male bank robber . Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.00.
